- Tired of the same ol' food week in and week out
- Stuck with the same workouts and feel bored
- Can't seem to kick the sweet, afternoon cravings
- Don't know how to motive {insert important person here} to be more healthy
I will be doing a Vlog post next week that will be all about answering your questions.
(For my grandma, and those less tech-savvy, a vlog is a video log. Video+LOG=VLOG)
This is where I need your help! I know many of you out there have one, or two, or 79 different questions about this whole healthy living, clean eating, lifting heavy "stuff". I need to know what they are. In the comments below, please post your questions. Feel free to just be yourself or post anonymously. It does not matter to me. Odds are, someone else has the same question. You will just be doing them a favor by putting on your brave pants and posting out there for the world to see. They will thank you. I will thank you.
From the questions, I will choose three from each category to answer. Feel free to be generic, or specific to you/your life/your body. My intention is to make this a regular occurrence (1x/month, currently) to help alleviate the mystery or feeling of helplessness for anyone out there feeling stuck without a clue how to change.
So come forth, brave souls! Share your questions and insecurities with the world!
When do you find TIME to workout and prepare healthy meals?
ReplyDeleteOkay, so sleep is needed to gain muscle/recovery, but when your dipping into those few precious hours you already have to workout, meal prep, ect...any suggestions on how to balance? I think I have the workout/meals down as priority #1, but with 3 kiddos there is little to no sleep...ever. Suggestions? Kari S.
ReplyDeletehow to figure out how many calories to eat to gain muscle, and how to get those in clean calories? Clean food has so few calories I find it hard to get enough calories with out being over stuffed!
ReplyDeleteOkay, so I think I have the workout/nutrition down as a priority...but with a job and three kids I never sleep. How much does this take away from my muscle gains/loss? Is it impossible to get a decent recovery on next to no sleep? Suggestions?
ReplyDelete**Sorry, Kari! I accidentally deleted this, so had to repost. Similar to your other questions, but different**
I love to run which seems to make me want to eat everything in sight! I'm having the most trouble making sure I'm eating clean and getting enough good nutrients. I'm wanting and ready to incorporate weights into my training but also don't want to lose sight of my race training. What are your recommendations for incorporating cardio (15-20 miles a week of running) in with Jamie Season's 12 week plan.
ReplyDeleteExcited about the Vblog! I've been wanting to attend your Healthy Living courses but living in Atlanta poses problems!
